Heather came to California from the United Kingdom 9 years ago. Her passion for photography started at an early age, generated by her father who gave her, her first 35mm film camera at age 8. Having been an enthusiastic amateur for years it wasn't until she came to California that she was lucky enough to work in the publishing industry and was encouraged to follow her passion. After studying black and white along with photojournalism, Heather moved back to color, although black and white is still very much a passion. "There is nothing better than seeing that image emerge in the dark room".

With the digital age photography has become more convenient and more affordable. For the past 7 years Heather has shot for local real estate magazines, commercial builders, portraits and for visitor guides. Heather works exclusively in Adobe Photoshop for manipulating images and is a professional retouch artist. Heather's skills also include page layout and web design.
